Other Event Information:

HOW DO I PURCHASE BOTTLES OF WINE TO TAKE HOME?

• If you like the wine you’re tasting at a specific location, you will be able to buy it right then and there!
• A “Bottle Valet” will be in the Commercial Street around the corner from Vinostrology. Drop off your purchased bottles throughout the event and pick up your wine at the end of the evening!

GETTING TO & FROM DOWNTOWN

• VIP Check-In is conveniently located on the same block as the parking garage. To enter the garage, turn right onto Commercial Street off Holly Street. Parking is free after 5:00pm on all levels of the garage.
• Get home safely. Parking is free in the Parking Garage (and on the street) all weekend, giving you plenty of time to come back Downtown for brunch and to snag your vehicle. Uber, Lyft or arrange for a ride home and grab your car Saturday.
• Downtown’s WTA bus station is located on the 1400 block of Railroad Avenue, two blocks up from Commercial Street.

WILL THERE BE FOOD?
• The Community Food Co-Op at 1220 N Forest will feature live music and provide tasty nibbles of artisan cheese from Glen Creamery. The Co-op also has a grab-n-go section with a variety of food options for purchase.
• Other participating venues plan to provide light snacks while they last, but we encourage you to build in some time to eat at one of Downtown’s many tasty restaurants.
IMPORTANT & HELPFUL DETAILS:
• Please bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. It’s supposed to be beautiful, and almost 80 degrees! Several participating businesses will also have water stations.
• Public restrooms are in the Commercial Street Plaza next to the Parking Garage. Some participating businesses will also have bathroom access.

HELP US HAVE A SUCCESSFUL EVENT & BE SAFE:

• IT IS ILLEGAL FOR ALCOHOL TO BE CONSUMED ON THE STREET. Each shop has applied for a special liquor license and could be subject to massive fines from the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board if participants are found to be breaking state liquor laws by drinking on the street. Any disorderly conduct could also lead to the denial for future applications for similar events in Bellingham. Drinking alcohol on public sidewalks is not permitted and we anticipate increased police presence. Drinking on the street or sidewalks will result in expulsion from the event and could result in a substantial fine. (Ref: Municipal Ordinance 10.08.070)

Please feel free to call our office at (360) 527-8710 if you have any additional questions. We will see you on Friday!
